IP – Iran’s Foreign Minister met his Qatari counterpart in Doha on Wednesday and discussed "the State of Qatar works within the framework of mediation to reach an end to the war in the Gaza Strip".

Iran Press/ West Asia:  Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian who traveled to Qatar met his counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Doha on Wednesday.

Amir-Abdollahian and Al Thani discuss developments in Gaza and bilateral relations.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that two ministers talked about "the State of Qatar works within the framework of mediation to reach an end to the war in the Gaza Strip".

This is Amir-Abdollahian's fourth visit to Qatar since the beginning of the tensions in Gaza.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian traveled to Doha late on Tuesday at the head of a delegation.
