Tehran (IP)- Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and South Africa's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Naledi Pandor discussed some issues of bilateral and regional interest, especially the developments in Palestine and Gaza, in a phone call.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press Hossein Amir-Abdollahian expressed his satisfaction with the developing relations between the two countries and praised the declaration of the strong and clear positions of the South African government and people in support of the oppressed people of Palestine.

Amir- Abdollahian also considered the joint efforts of the two countries in the international arena to condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime and take practical measures to stop the war and reduce the suffering of the oppressed Palestinian people as important.

South African FM emphasizes supporting Palestinian cause

Naledi Pandor, Minister of Foreign Relations and International Cooperation of South Africa, in this telephone conversation, also pointed out the explicit positions of the South African government and people in supporting the Palestinian people and ending the continuation of the crimes of the Israeli regime, and added:

"Fortunately, the positions of the South African government have been agreed upon by the people of this country, and in this regard, the South African government has submitted its official request to the International Court of Justice in writing to investigate and follow up the crimes committed against the Palestinian people."
