Tehran (IP) - Referring to the trend of weather events, the head of Iran’s meteorological organization said that 2023, and especially November and December were recognized as the hottest days on the earth.

Iran PressIran news: Sahar Tajbakhsh, deputy minister and head of Iran’s meteorological organization, in a press conference on Monday on the sidelines of the 7th International Transportation Industry Exhibition stated: Our region has been severely affected by the consequences of climate change, and the rainfall in our country is lower than the global average.

She emphasized that many atmospheric hazards have been caused by climate change, which has increased the temperature in the world.

Ali Akbar Safai, Deputy Minister and CEO of the Ports and Maritime Organization, also in a press conference on the sidelines of the 7th International Transport Industry Exhibition added:" Sea-oriented development policies will soon find an implementation mechanism and matters related to the maritime-oriented economy will be implemented."

Safaei said: "Tomorrow, at the maritime transport conference, 30 contracts worth 450,000 billion Rials will be signed between the private sector and the Ports and Maritime Organization."
