Iran Press/ Iran news: Bisotun Caravanserai dates back to the Safavid era and was recently registered as a world heritage site during the UNESCO meeting hosted by Saudi Arabia.
The Shah Abbasi Bisotun caravanserai, covering over 6,000 square meters, was constructed on the ancient route connecting Iran and Iraq to provide lodging for pilgrims.
This caravanserai, built with authentic Iranian architecture, is located near the historic Taq-e Bostan Bisotun complex, making it a popular destination for tourists interested in history and archaeology.
The historical-archaeological and tourism complex of Taq-e Bostan is located on the slopes of the mountain with the same name in the northwest of Kermanshah city and it is a valuable historical monument for the Sasanian period.
