Iran Press/ Asia: Mohammad Mahdi Imanipour, head of Iran's Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), who is in Tokyo to participate in the third round of religious dialogues between Iran and Japan, met and talked with Tokura Shunichi, head of Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs, on Thursday.
The ICRO President, while pointing to the solutions and capacity of cultural exchanges between Iran and Japan, said: "There is a suitable capacity for us to discuss the issue of museum and cinema cooperation with each other, and also holding cultural weeks can be a suitable solution for getting to know the people of the two countries."
The head of Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs also said in this meeting: "We have done appropriate research activities in Japan in the fields of Western Studies, Iranian Studies, and Islamic Studies, and we can cooperate in this field."
At the end of this meeting, with the agreement of the parties, it was decided that a draft agreement on cultural cooperation between the two countries should be prepared and reviewed by the parties.
