Isfahan (IP) - The artworks of Iranian artists were exposed at the 13th International Exhibition of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Hoteling in Isfahan, central Iran, on the occasion of Iranian Tourism Week.

Iran PressIran news: The Isfahan International Tourism and Handicrafts Exhibition is one of the significant tourism events in Iran, which is held annually on the occasion of World Tourism Day and Iran Tourism Week.

Isfahan is one of the important tourist cities of Iran and is known as "half of the world" due to its artists and craftsmen and the existence of historical buildings and Iranian architecture.

With the arrival of tourism week in Iran, Isfahan and its artists hosted foreign sister cities including Kuwait, St. Petersburg, and a Turkish business delegation. 

The 13th edition of Isfahan's expo kicked off on September 26 and went on until September 30 while being welcomed by the people and the Iranian cavillation and rich culture and history. 

Hand-woven carpets, Kalamakari (a type of hand-painted cotton textile), marquetry, Klim-waving, and scores of other handicrafts arts were exposed in the event along with the introduction of the historical buildings of the Iranian city.
