Iran Press/ Iran news: A one-day conference on the role of mobilization and naval power of Iran was held on Dec.19, 2023.
Attending the event, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi emphasized: "The two great events of Iran's Islamic Revolution and the imposed Iran-Iraq war went beyond Iran's borders and became the culture of resistance front not only in the region but also in South America, where today they are standing against the US."
He concluded: "Our revolution was unique and Imam Khomeini's leadership in holy defense was also unique, as the threat of the enemy was higher than our military strength, they brought more than two million Basij (volunteer forces) and changed the equations."
He said: "We must win in the field of virtual space and cognitive and cultural war as well as the sacred defense."
